Hi!
This isn't books, i'm planning to start a thread of my favorite, helpful books. But i thought we might do the same with sites we visit with helpful info.
I use NewsTarget a lot. Also the Doctor Yourself site.
Then i have a page of sites under Health in my book marks.
http://www.goodsamiam.com/practices.htm
This good sam site is helpful to remind me of good daily practices. One of the reasons it caught my eye is because yesterday i started a yoga class. It is the gentle type, with much of the focus on breathing, & that's one of the things discussed on this page.

Is a site i found when looking for a sugar to honey conversion table. I don't do much baking these days, but what i do i want to replace the sugar with honey, molasses, & stevia. I've not explored this thoroughly, but what i saw was pretty good. I don't agree with it all.
http://www.socknitters.com/Tips/handcream.htm
Is a page with a recipe for homemade hand cream. I used to have a whole site of making your own shampoos, hand creams, etc., but i can't find it. But this one is pretty good. I've not made it in a while. If you do make it, make only a small quantity as it spoils quickly.

Is another of the same type, making your own beauty products.

Is a site of beautiful, downloadable pics that you can use as wallpaper on your homepage. I only downloaded one, of autumn leaves, & there was no charge.
http://www.suelebeau.com/months.htm
Is all about holiday celebrations. It has some history, & some suggestions. It is just fun. I believe she is an educator.

This is one of my husband's favorite sites. It has all kinds of things, things that people have made. Some of it is serious science, & some is just goofy. I think it changes daily. He often brings in a video to show me. Today was on making vampire teeth to fit your own. (I don't recommend it, it's made with the fake fingernail chemicals! But it looked very realistic.) Another was a cool one was a hovercraft that went on land or sea. All kinds of fun things here!
Make it a good day! Love to hear about your favorite sites.
