Hi, lovely people. When I first became a member of this site, I didn't introduce myself (I think.) Then I traveled and was a visitor in a relative's home for a month, and didn't have time to visit here. When I got home, I had computer problems, then lost my password to log in here, was lazy about getting it back, etc. etc.--all very boring stuff, but what I'm trying to say is that my absence had nothing to do with not enjoying the site. And I'm glad to be back!

Pattypans, there is a question waiting for you in the New Members forum...look in the "Hi from South Texas" thread.

Oh, and welcome back!

:) Aww, you girls are all so sweet!

Thanks for the heads up, Islander. I'll see if I can find it.

No, Katee, the computer is not fine. It died. But I'm using the laptop that used to be my husband's, and he's using the netbook he bought on the trip. So everything's okay, except that I prefer desktops. But I'm not complaining.

 Islander, the question must be invisible. I searched that thread high and low several times, but I can't find it.

I think the question was from Sam to Bets, not Pattypans. Pattypans asked a question:)

Welcome back, Pattypans! Remember, computers are here to help us (LOL!) and that life is what happens while we are making other plans...

Thanks, everybody. There's a chapter called "Pattypans" in Louisa May Alcott's Little Men, and my name is similar anyway. Hence Pattypans.
(I read the book with a small group of kids I taught.)
