Always helps to know where your charitable donations are going.

This happens in a lot of charity organisations.

Wow, Palin's kid really is being groomed for a career in politics. Getting paid more than the charity put out. She is truly on her way.

Oh man. Some of the reader comments are priceless!

I don't dare get started on a political discussion re: the Palin's. I would, no doubt, alienate myself quickly. =8->

We have conservatives on the blog-I am one. However, I have seen charities on both right and left do this sort of thing. I try to give to local ones whenever possible-Hospice and the Food Bank are two that in my area really make a difference.

I try to stay fairly middle-of-the-road concerning politics. I usually vote for the person not the party. But when it comes to our last administration, and now our current administration, I tend to have to place my hand squarely over my mouth.

I prefer to keep both religion and politics out of this board, as I find them inflammatory. I only meant to point out the fraudulent nature of a disbursement that I had recently become aware of. It's typical in that after the big cheeses have been paid off, the actual recipients of charity get the crumbs.

Sounds exactly like the pink breast cancer campaign. 50+ years of "donations" and still no progress that we'll ever hear about. But the CEO's seem to be doing quite nicely on the donations.

Ocean, elsewhere in this forum is a detailed article on where the pink donations go. It's laughable. And there's never talk of prevention, only that elusive cure.
