If you are not in the U.S. but would like to add your support, you can use Bangor, ME as your location and 04101 as your zip code.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture wants to improve school lunches and breakfasts. It's about time -- USDA school meal standards haven't been changed in 15 years. USDA is calling for school meals with more fruits and vegetables, less fat, more whole grains, less salt, fat-free or low-fat milk, fewer saturated and trans fats and moderate calories. But this solid proposal is meeting opposition on Capitol Hill. Environmental Working Group is partnering with the Center for Science in the Public Interest and others to fight for healthy school food. Will you join us?

Please urge your representative to support USDA standards so that more children can have healthy school meals.
