  3. Re: 8 Excellent Reasons To Eat More Eggplants

Earwigo = here we go, yes?

Eggplants are one of my absolute favorite foods -- one of the few things that can prompt me to turn on the oven or stove. I always eat the skin because I think anything...
  4. Re: Abercrombie And Fitch Wants Only Thin And Beautiful customers

Actually, it will only boost their cred with their current customers. The only people I know who shop/wear A&F are preppy teens. It's cliquey to be seen in their clothes and the very fact that "fat...

Re: How not to say the wrong thing

Sometimes when I see something really rude (not terribly often) I think that in the south somebody would be taken outside and taught some manners. Except where I came from the racism (both ways) and...

Re: School Answering Machine In Australia

There are both good and bad students, teachers, parents and admins. I think respect is a two-way street. Kids who are treated with respect usually return the favor. My first grade teacher was evil....

Re: How not to say the wrong thing

What is up with that? Why don't people do the little things: please, thank you, excuse me, you're welcome? People still say them here but not like they should. I understand that the old Miss Manners...

Re: School Answering Machine In Australia

Wouldn't you know they misspelled absent on number one.

Schools shouldn't expect a reason for an absence. As long as the parent knows then it's none of their business...unless the school really...

Re: How not to say the wrong thing

Good article. I liked reading that "listening is often more helpful than talking" because I'm better at the former.

This article reminds me of something that happened a few days ago. I was at work...

    Re: Childbirth at 70

  16. Re: The Case for Drinking as Much Coffee as You Like

I have a history of anemia but since I had an endometrial ablation my blood tests have been normal in that regard. I've had several CBC tests and metabolic panels. I don't know about B12 levels...

Re: The Squatty Potty makes me feel skinny

When I broke my pinky toe on my right foot I was very grateful for any higher toilet. Every time I had to get up from a lower toilet I became keenly aware of the purpose of my pinky toe. Ouch.

  19. Re: The Case for Drinking as Much Coffee as You Like

I don't know how complete my physical exams would rate. Growing up I seemed to always be in the doctor's office. I probably took more antibiotics than most kids took Flintstone vitamins. (Probably a...
