GROW YOUR OWN GROCERIES!
I am proud and excited to introduce my friend Marjory Wildcraft. Marjory has produced for the aspiring gardener and farmsteader, the most comprehensive package of how-to instructions and advice that I have ever seen. The set contains three disks: two DVDs of hands-on how-tos, and one containing an immense library of print resources. This one collection of video and print DIY resources will replace all the how-to books on your shelf. But I won't waste words. Use this link to let Marjory tell her own amazing story. I promise, you will not be disappointed!

5 Easy flowers To Plant in Your Garden
By Ramon Gonzalez, TreeHugger
If you’re trying to overcome your seed starting fear by growing the five easy vegetables I recommended growing from seed, add these five annuals to your garden too.
Even if the goal of your garden is to grow your own food, you need flowers to attract pollinators and other beneficial insects to your garden.

Re: 5 Easy flowers To Plant in Your Garden
And to feed your soul. I grow half a row of annuals for cutting right in the middle of the vegetable garden. In fact, a few (like the annual poppies) don't make good cut flowers, and a mammoth one I'm trying this year, 'Drama Queen,' will be just for show — but they are such a delight and warm my heart when I go out to work in the garden.
➤ Happiness is the frosting on the cake of contentment.

I have french marigold, calendula and borage growing in random places throughout the vege garden and an abundance of bees flying among them.
