So many people live in fear of their own bodies because they're told too much fat causes diabetes. Meet a doctor who thinks we got this wrong, and learn how he's rewriting science to prove that fat is a symptom, not a cause. Can we get more doctors on board by sharing this?

First, I think he's right. But beyond that: how do we change something as enmeshed as the corporate-industrial food pyramid with its emphasis on high carb-low fat eating? And an even greater challenge: how do we wean people away from sugar, grains and convenience foods?

What a beautiful human being that man is!

Aside from that, wouldn't it be wonderful if all scientists were as open-minded and willing to be proven wrong? That takes humility (as he realizes), and unfortunately, humility isn't considered a virtue by many, and seems in short supply in science and especially in medical professionals. Dr. Attia and his team are desirous of simply finding the truth of the matter in order to find solutions that will help people. And they don't care who is right--only what is right. That's the way it should be.

Thanks for posting this.
