Note : although the link to this article and the videos is on an MCS website, the information is relevant to all multi system illnesses. I have placed this in the parent forum and changed the title to reflect this.

Martin Pall’s research (http://www.thetenthparadigm.org/), a review of more than 1,500 references to scientific literature, shows a common causal (etiologic) mechanism for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Fibromyalgia and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: The chronic nature of MCS and also related multisystem illnesses is thought to be produced by a biochemical vicious cycle mechanism, the NO/ONOO- cycle, which is initiated by various stressors that increase nitric oxide and peroxynitrite levels (with some but not others acting via NMDA stimulation).
Click here for a one-page description of Pall’s theory (http://www.thecanaryreport.org/2011/07/15/multiple-chemical-sensitivity-research-martin-pall/more%20than%201,500%20references%20to%20scientific %20literature) as presented in his book Explaining ‘Unexplained Illnesses’: Disease Paradigm for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Fibromyalgia, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Gulf War Syndrome and Others (2007).

Martin Pall explaining elevated nitric oxide and oxidative stress in Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and related illnesses (three-part video, posted 2010):

This is one that I was wondering if it would be worth while making it a sticky. What do others think?

I am not sure about making a sticky. You did a good job of listing the resources!

It is the information given in the videos that had me thinking this. This is the first time I have come across a video of Martin Pall. Even though these are embedded You Tube videos a search of You Tube did not find them.
