  1. Re: FDA Adds Black Boxed Warning to Insomnia Drugs

That's interesting about looking 'hard' at daylight, Islander. I need as near to total darkness as possible to sleep well, but as soon as I'm up, I crave daylight. I'm so happy you've found a simple,...
  2. Re: Judge rules New York county can’t ban unvaccinated children from schools, parks

Years ago, my adult son and his pregnant wife happened to be visiting us when he came down with the mumps. He stayed in bed as long as was necessary, to protect 'the family jewels', and they went on...

  4. Re: Turmeric Tonic Treats Chronic Scalp Psoriasis

My mother used to use zinc oxide on our noses and shoulders as a sunblock (I burned very easily). I think she also used it on my heat rash in certain areas. Some people use it on babies' bottoms. ...

    Re: No sex since 1955

Hilarious! Military time is used routinely here in Brazil, in everyday life. I have to tell my students that in the US it's pretty much only the military and maybe a few other situations that use it.

Until there's a vaccine to push for C. auris, I don't think they'll be sending 'disease detectives' out for it.

  9. Re: NYC declares public health emergency (measles), orders mandatory vaccinations

I don't think it matters how many or how few are affected. If we allow the government at any level to force us to inject ourselves or our children with anything, we are on a greased slope to losing...
  10. Re: Former Merck Scientists Sue Merck Alleging MMR Vaccine Efficacy Fraud

    Thank you, Mr. Wiz.
  11. Re: NYC declares public health emergency (measles), orders mandatory vaccinations

Yes, but NYC is going even further and mandating vaccinations for all over the age of six months, with a one-thousand dollar fine for 'resisters.' I certainly hope this faces, and is stopped by, a...
  12. Re: Former Merck Scientists Sue Merck Alleging MMR Vaccine Efficacy Fraud

I've been trying to find more recent major information on this, but haven't been able to. Does anyone know if the actual trial has started?

I don't have a subscription, but I got to it from another even more biased article that I somehow ran into here:...
  15. Re: Judge rules New York county can’t ban unvaccinated children from schools, parks

The author of this Washington Post article did not stop at reporting the facts, unfortunately; she also includes misinformation about 'community immunity' and mis-characterizes those who aren't in...

  17. Re: “Breakthrough” Treatment for Postpartum Depression: Game Changer or Misguided Mag

  18. “Breakthrough” Tx for Postpartum Depression: Game Changer or Misguided Magic Bullet?

  19. Re: Measles Transmitted By Vaccinated, Gov. Researchers Confirm

That's what it says. Do you mean it's confusing because we wouldn't expect a naturopath to do that?
  21. Re: Arizona police officers forcibly removed 2-year-old boy with fever from home, vid

From another article it appears that the three children were sent first to three different foster homes.

Sticky: Poll: Re: Childhood measles vaccine poll

Islander, not to put too fine a point on it, but what do you think about adding an option "Yes, after vaccination, no complications" and "Yes, after vaccination, complications"?
  24. Re: Rockland bans unvaccinated kids from public places in State of Emergency for meas

I know! This is one of the other faces of the whole thing. I have no doubt whatsoever that there are more children adversely affected by the MMR vaccine than by a simple measles infection! If we had...
