    scilover, in case I gave you the wrong idea, this doesn't displace other fertilisers, eg, there is no nitrogen in rock dust. It's in addition to the compost, manure etc you might normally use.

    Try a simple experiment. Put some quick growing plants in two pots, one with and one without rock dust. I have seen photos of this and there really is a difference. Fun to do!

    grulla, I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but crushing a clove with the flat of a knife makes it very easy to peel.
