As an admirer of Islander and being somewhat burned out by the more tedious aspects of "that other site", I've been encouraged to try this one. So far, I'm liking what I see.

I live in Colorado with my longtime Significant Other (male, for those who are curious) and have two adult children. In my other life I worked for the FAA in the aviation weather branch of Air Traffic. These days I'm enjoying retirement. Interests include (obviously) health, nutrition, and alternative medicine, among many other things. I love books and read everything I can get my hands on, both fiction and nonfiction.

Welcome to HH, Lovemywesties. A change is nice periodically. When I switched from the "other site," that's what I was in search of...a change....a different perspective. I've been delighted ever since making the switch.
