Yes, I've seen the same graphic on Facebook. Some of the "regulars" here went looking for further information, because we were quite sure that Wakefield had been vindicated and reinstated. Well, perhaps I dreamed it because a fairly focused Google search failed to turn up anything of the sort. Although I personally am opposed to most vaccines, I avoid engaging in the topic on Facebook because no minds are ever changed...people are alienated and friends are lost. Choose your battles!

Sundiego, in searching for something else, I found a reference to this lengthy 2010 interview. Lots of details. You can download the transcript here:

In terms of the autism connection, Dr. David Ayoub (who has my immense respect) gave an hour-long presentation in 2008 before the 65th Annual Meeting of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. I have no transcript but I think you may find the video worthwhile. In fact (once again, a happy accident), I think I'll post this elsewhere on Hawkes' Health...possibly in the autism forum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ny842FitF8
My own personal conclusion is that autism is a multifactorial condition; genes, environmental exposures both before and after birth, and other random factors may load the gun, but vaccines pull the trigger. That extra charge of mercury (thimerosal) or aluminum may represent the tipping point in susceptible children.

Thx Islander I agree with what you say in regards to Autism. I also don't argue about this stuff on Facebook either, its a waste of my time. I thought he was vindicated as well, so I thought I would share this. Thx for the reply!
