    Default InStove Gravity-Feed Rocket Stove

I just now came accross this ad for a clean and efficient stainless steel woodburning stove for both heating and cooking/boiling/canning, that may be of interest to the HH forum members. http://instove.org/

I watched many of the graphics and videos from InStove. The one thing that bothered me in was the use of the tall toxic aluminum pots, as opposed to using stainless steel equivalents. Measurements would have to be taken for substitution.http://www.kitchenfantasy.com/images/171402.jpg PS: I have now lost the ability for the past 3-4 days to track the front page "What's New?" column. Apparently other forum members have not lost that ability as they are reading my last post with many responses and some replies from 4 days ago, (which is the last item I can see, and refreshing the page to update does no good). I now have to access the forum post replies to me to keep track of my own initiating posts, and have no way of knowing what other thread someone else has initiated.

Well, this is just a high-tech commercial pricey version of the old homemade DIY rocket stove. They can be made even more simple with tin cans. You can pay $500+ for theirs, or make your own for pennies. Check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_stove
