    At least if you already have knee pain, my chiro says that bicycling is better than walking, because of the impact of walking. From my experience, you have to make sure the seat of the bike (I have an exercise bike) is adjusted properly, that is, in a way that it doesn't hurt your knees when your legs make that acute angle while you're riding. I hope this is understandable; I'm not quite sure how to explain it. Just make sure that it doesn't hurt.

    I read it somewhere that drinking water quickly lead to some kind of problem in your knee when you get older, you won't feel when you are young.

    I was happy to see the advice on shoes in the article. All of the 6 suggestions may help prevent knee pain, but I doubt the suggestions will absolutely prevent knee pain (deterioration) if you don't get enough collagen in your diet. Without enough collagen to replace worn connective tissue, people don't stand a chance of preventing joint deterioration as they age in my opinion. The medical profession is making billions annually on people's ignorance, and they aren't into education if it robs them of these revenues.

    Dietary collagen doesn't just prevent pain. It rebuilds tissue. 23 years ago I had knee pain from deterioration. I have no more pain and my knees seem to be healthier than when I was 25 years old. That's 51 years ago.

    Can you find a source for this? Because a lot of unreliable nonsense is printed in newspapers and magazines. In fact, adequate hydration is necessary to keep your joints healthy. Not soda pop or fruit juice — just pure water!
