    Only 4 tablespoons of flaxseed a day for six months results in significant improvement in blood pressure in patients with a chronic, progressive arterial disease.
    A promising study published in the journal Hypertension titled, "Potent antihypertensive action of dietary flaxseed in hypertensive patients," reveals that dietary flaxseed may represent a powerful therapeutic intervention in patients with cardiovascular disease.

    Wow. Four (4) Tablespoons sounds like a lot of flaxseed. Don't know that I could eat 4 Tblspoons a day for 6 months????

    I thought that too. I would run out of things to add it to - not that I have hypertension.

    4 T is a quarter cup, which is what my breakfast recipe calls for, and I have to halve that… And I still wouldn't want that for breakfast every day for six months! Sometimes these health recommendations are just flat out unrealistic!
