Centuries back when the farmers in Indonesia first discovered Kratom, they were quite happy. They found something which cured their fatigue and lethargy and alleviated their stress. Those were the good days when Kratom was only used for medical conditions.
However, gradually the world got to know about this supplement. Many were curious to find out the effects of Kratom. Once they discovered that it causes euphoria and stimulation at low doses, they were enthralled.

The public had not "discovered" kratom back in the 60s when I was experimenting with psychedelics. It wasn't until a year or so ago that I had read so much about its power to relieve depression and anxiety that I determined to try it. On the recommendation of experienced users, I ordered a collection of seven different strains, or "veins." I always start small with any new supplement or substance, and so the first three or four veins had no effect on me, but the next one I tried knocked me out almost immediately and I slept for an hour or two. That experience was such a deterrent that I never did go back to try the strain that had been most recommended to me, the white vein. I suppose I should get back to my experimentation before spring arrives and I have to come out of hibernation...

BTW, Mercola continues to invite criticism. This time it's his failure to supply a source for a well-known quote from William Blake: "If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite."
