Default France Moves To Stops Reimbursing Homeopathy

France’s health watchdog has recommended that homeopathic medicines should no longer be paid for by the country’s health system because there is insufficient evidence to show they work. But homeopathy is very popular here; users and homeopaths insist it offers a cheap, environmentally-friendly and above all holistic approach to healthcare.

No surprise there, in view of all the recent reports and petitions we get from ANH about the FDA wanting to compromise homeopathy, one way or another, in favor of the allopathic, big pharma "industry".

I visit an integrative MD regularly (half conventional, half alternative),a 2 hour one way trip, who has a Phd in molecular biology and a reputation for resolving certain cancer issues. There is a global map on the hallway wall with color tipped pins demonstrating where all his patients visit him from all around the world.

In the past 2 years, he successfully shrank away 2 nodular growths on my prostate, (verified with 3rd party ultrasound reports), with high doses of 5 different herbal remedies, that health insurance (UHC/Medicare manager) would not pay for, while other conventional aspects of his services are covered by the insurance.

However, one must pay him up front in full for ALL those services, and then he submits a special form to UHC/Medicare mgr. for a partial refund followed by a check in the mail for only the covered services. Otherwise, the alternative part of the medical services are all out-of-pocket.

Grulla, that's what's called a "boutique" practice. Dr. Mercola's practice is the same. You're fortunate; very few people can afford that level of care. But the prostate— amazing. Hard to put a price on that kind of expertise!

Australia recently dropped several alternative health treatments from Medicare. There is a war going on in western countries to totally undermine natural medicine, and it's scary.

Agreed. When a site the size of mercola.com is silenced, all of us are potentially in jeopardy. I'm hoping we are too small to be noticed, both on Facebook and on the Internet at large… Because I like to think we are still a beacon of truth.
