Unfortunately, most of these school cuts are done ostensibly to save money. When, in the long term, the lack of physical activity ends up costing us all more in unnecessary medical costs. Penny wise, pound foolish if you ask me!

We can't seem to take a page from some of the countries, like Finland, with truly exceptional education systems. We know how it's done... is it that we can't bear to admit we're doing it wrong?

Finland, South Korea, Japan, etc. all produce exceptionally talented students, especially in science and math. Agree with Julieanne, the USA has an ego problem when it comes to education.
