Default Partnering for a path to digital identity

It's very difficult to find information on ID2020. Articles that appear in search results do not exist when summoned. In simple language, ID2020 is a plan to RFID-chip every human (the kind of microchip that is often implanted in pets).
In the first comment, below, I link to an article from what I would call an "unreliable" source. The hysterical tone is unfortunate, but the story spells out in plain facts how the digital technology is already being implemented.

In the U.S. and abroad, fundamental rights and services like voting, healthcare, housing and education are tethered to legal proof of identification – you can’t participate if you don’t have it. Yet nearly one in six people worldwide – the majority of them being women, children and refugees – live without it. The lack of legal documentation not only strips access to critical services, it puts those trapped in the “identity gap” at risk for larger issues including displacement and child trafficking.

Today, we are excited to share that we are deepening our commitment to this issue by formally joining ID2020 as a founding member. In addition to a donation of $1 million, we will commit resources and expertise to further develop a secure, portable form of digital identity and help implement it across governments and agencies.

If you can overlook the fear-mongering, this article discloses the intent of ID2020 in graphic language.

Anyone know what the image on the wall is in Islander's second link? I have no idea.

I don't know, Julieanne, but I'd like to. Couldn't find anything on it, though.

Thanks for that second article, Islander. Very interesting indeed.

Something I noted on the Gates Foundation site (linked to in one of the other 2 articles): They include diarrhea among 'vaccine-preventable' diseases. But access to clean water is a much more comprehensive way to greatly reduce diarrhea and therefore infant mortality. Costa Rica made access to clean water one of its priorities some decades ago, and it made a huge difference in infant mortality. It seems to me that touting, and using, vaccination to prevent diarrhea is a much more expensive, complicated way of going about it. And of course, dangerous, which clean water isn't.

"Islander", "It's very difficult to find information on ID2020." Here are two links. It seems there may be browser censoring, I use duckduckgo for my browser.

Oh, there are plenty of search results on Google as well. Here's one: https://www.pymnts.com/news/biometri...al-id-program/

After a cursory search, I went for the two most comprehensive, detailed, frank stories whose audience was the ordinary citizen. Other articles, like the above link, are addressed to a different set of readers.
