Default He signed up for a coronavirus vaccine trial using a method never used in humans...

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent
    Sat April 25, 2020

(CNN)Despite all his medical knowledge, 31-year-old medical student and Ph. D. candidate Sean Doyle couldn't know for certain all the risks of the injection he had just received in his right shoulder at Emory University Hospital. Yes, of course he was told of the potential side effects, such as soreness in his arm, a fever, malaise. But when you are among the first people in the world to receive a vaccine injection, the real answer about the risks is simply "we don't know."
In fact, it's those very questions that he is helping us answer.

Well at least there's some information on the problems they've had in the past with vaccines, like bad outcomes and low effectiveness. Mainstream medicine may be seeming to save the day this year, but it's on it's last leg with these vaccines and also with it's bold usurpation of control over every government. Every segment of 60 Minutes lately is about the virus. Somebody is making sure we are all consumed by it mentally and spiritually such that we don't notice it's had little impact physically on 98% of us. I am about done with "consumption". We are beating a dead horse. The only thing worth watching in this drama is our civil liberties. Outside of that I will look for a few other topics to introduce here on HH.

Stoneharbor, I search every day for non-Covid articles, but there are few around. It's the same here in Oz - most of the ABC news (which I trust) is taken up with the virus.

The fact remains that we haven't heard of the last of it by any means. Quarantine restrictions are being relaxed and businesses are beginning to reopen in many states. Watch for a revival of infections as people resume interacting. Infections may have peaked in population centers but are just now arriving at more rural locations where you will see numbers of infections begin to climb seriously. At the same time we are continuing to learn more about the powerful impact of this virus with its ability to coagulate blood, deplete the body of oxygen and damage if not destroy multiple organs in its progress.

Further, the economic downturns, both here and around the world, are going to result in serious recessions if not depressions, and in some cases, total collapse. Traditionally May is the beginning of tourist season in much of the country, yet we are still encouraged to stay at home, flights are not available, hotels and motels will not be open nor will restaurants be prepared to feed hungry tourists. Desperate states are looking to declare bankruptcy, yet that's prohibited by state constitutions. We have already borrowed trillions — trillions of dollars — from our children's future. The story of COVID-19 and its consequences is far from over.

This was a pretty good article, but the conclusion was just more of the Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. Yes, we did kill and disable plenty plenty people back in the 1970s and in other false start efforts to force vaccinations upon the general public, but we have learned from all of those deaths, and we promise we won't do it again this time. You can trust us this time. It would be to laugh, if it were not so deadly serious.
