Supplements: Medical researchers from Singapore General Hospital lead by Professor Dr Heng Joo Ng from the Department of Hematology, SGH have recently published a preprint study that has been yet to be peer-reviewed that shows a combination of easily available and cheap dietary supplements such as Vitamins D3, B12 and the mineral magnesium can reduce the progression of the disease to severe or fatal stages. The supplement combo known as DMB was also useful for older patients. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1....full.pdf+html

Other helpful supplements that can boost immunity and mitigate symptoms include vitamin C, iodine, selenium, melatonin and zinc. There may very likely be others but those are the ones that come to mind in my recent reading.

We know that, but it's good to see an actual study with positive conclusions. I hope this is widely read.

Sounds promising. I like that the study gave the actual amounts of each of the 3 supplements. Also, it was very specific that vit. D3 was used, and not D2. Wish it had been more specific about the types of B-12 and magnesium used. Some research shows that B-12 as cyanocobalamin may not benefit the lungs, while B-12 as methylcobalamin has shown to be very beneficial, especially against lung inflammation. But, the study did not clearly identify which type of B-12 was used. Same for magnesiusm, as many studies have shown magnesium citrate has proven beneficial for COPD and other lung conditions. But, the study did not identify which of the dozens of different types of magnesium it used. But, very encourgaging study. I look forward to the peer review to learn more. See study showing magnesium citrate beneficial for lung problems here:
