    I'm a strong believer in Omega-3 fish oil supplements, which I take almost everyday. The article notes that Omega-3 may be obtained from eating seeds, nuts, and legumes. However, the body must convert the ALA (alpha-lenoleic acid) in these sources to Omega-3. As we age, this conversion process becomes harder and less efficient. Since Omega-3 fatty acids are essential--means your body can't make them, I choose to supplement rather than rely on a potentially inefficient conversion process.
