Even if people coated the inside of their mouths with a coronavirus-killing chemical, a substantial amount of the virus would still remain in the body

A rash of provocative headlines this week flooded social media platforms, touting a tantalizing notion: Mouthwash, they read, can “kill” the coronavirus “within 30 seconds,” according to the findings of a new study that has not yet been published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Social media have an obligation to delete this kind of misinformation. I'm beginning to think an army of moderators is required to deal with these troll farms!

But what might work against covid-19, if symptoms are caught early enough, is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) inhaled with a nebulizer, as reported by Dr. Richard Cheng and written by Dr. Thomas Levy.
