Default How To Prepare and Protect Your Gut Health Over Christmas

It’s that time of year again, with Christmas parties, end-of-year get-togethers and holiday catch-ups on the horizon for many of us — all COVID-safe, of course. All that party food and takeaway, however, can have consequences for your gut health.
Gut health matters. Your gut is a crucial part your immune system. In fact, 70% of your entire immune system sits around your gut, and an important part of that is what’s known as the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT), which houses a host of immune cells in your gut.

The stool chart was interesting. I am a type three, except smaller nuggets. That may have to do with the fact that a section of my rectum was removed in order to cure colon cancer. I'm never constipated, I never have to push, the train comes into the station and leaves on its own momentum. Further, I never have to use toilet paper, even though I pat just in case. There is simply no residue.

I believe nothing can be as nutritional as balanced diet and whole food. However, I find it difficult to convince my children to switch to healthy food habit. Their regular intake of healthy foods, proper greens are below par.
Quite recently I have introduced nutrition supplements to their diet - Vitamin A, Probiotics, Iron and Omega 3. These were absolutely necessary for their healthy growth and development, and an overall protection. I read and researched a lot before implementing supplements.

However, I recommend getting in touch with a professional.

paulsteven, I have deleted your link to a professional supplement source. .You may have had honest intentions, but you should know by now that recommending or advertising any commercial source is spamming, and doing it will risk your membership here.
If you can't find a satisfactory source of information on nutrition for children here at Hawk's Health, I would suggest you research the topic. Find an informative article from a published journal and submit it here. Either the Nutrition in General forum or the Early Childhood forum would be a good fit.
