For the first time, a team of scientists at Flinders University say a common fish oil supplement taken with antibiotics could be the saviour in a global fight against superbugs.
In cases where antibiotics alone don't work in treating a superbug, the omega 3 fatty acids in fish oils work to kill bacteria that prevent the antibiotics from working.
