    Default Fight against Covid-19 pandemic

"The COVID‑19 crisis has heightened the risk factors generally associated with poor mental health – financial insecurity, unemployment, fear – while protective factors – social connection, employment and educational engagement, access to physical exercise, daily routine, access to health services – fell dramatically. This has led to a significant and unprecedented worsening of population mental health. Across countries, the mental health of unemployed people and those experiencing financial insecurity was worse than that of the general population – a trend that pre‑dates the pandemic, but seems to have accelerated in some cases. OECD countries have responded with decisive efforts to scale‑up mental health services, and put into place measures to protect jobs and incomes, thereby reducing mental distress for some. However, the scale of mental distress since the start of the pandemic requires more integrated, whole‑of-society mental health support if it is not to lead to permanent scarring."

From what I read and I understood, everyone has been affected of this pandemic, rich or poor, we've all had a share of anxiety our timeline has brought upon. As most of you here are already in senior years, what prepationds did you make to battle against this pandemic?

Everyone was not really prepared at first, but as we move on with our lives, we learned to adapt on the situation. First thing we did was to make sure that we are healthy, we avoided going out when there is a surge in covid cases, we wear masks and made sure we disinfect whenever we go out. At home we exercise, eat well, sleep well to make sure we are healthy. When the vaccines were available, we made sure that we have them. Our family have weekly videocalls to check out on everyone.

This pandemic has revealed how poor the world is in all facets of life. The most vocal nations in terms of politics, military, and mental proficiency are completely helpless and confuse.

Are you saying social media platforms are fighting disinformation because of government pressure for them to do so? It's actually the first time I've heard that claim. Has that pressure been exerted publicly, or is it secret?
