    • A new study compared calorie restriction with and without time-restricted eating.
    • The study followed participants with obesity for 1 year.
    • At the end of the study, both groups of participants lost weight, but the researchers found that neither weight loss method was significantly more effective than the other.

    According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States obesity rate among adults is 42.4%. With that in mind, people are constantly on the lookout for the best way to reduce calorie intake.

    Point taken; however, there is much more to good health than one's weight, obesity, or lack thereof. My subjective belief still is that allowing plenty of time for digestion and for becoming a little hungry between meals is a good thing, for myself at least.

    Fully agree. I never expected to see any weight loss over this regimen, and I don't believe I have.
