    Default Resource list

Over the last several weeks, people have posted various links to resources, i.e. one site that condenses a whole bouquet of pertinent information on single subjects. I've thought of setting up a new forum for this but really, we have a LOT of forums and I don't want the site to be any more cluttered and confusing.

I'm toying with the idea of simply setting up a Resources page or thread somewhere. Rather than a lot of posts, which consume needless space, I thought I'd start with one item and then edit this post to add to it as new ideas are presented. I'd ask you to PM me with a newly discovered resource, which I'd list with the contributor's name. Thus we'd have a long list incorporated into a single post, rather than posts that go on for pages. And look, it has evolved into this:

    • VACCINES. World for Vaccine Education Association http://www.novaccine.com/ Lists information on the ingredients in vaccines, reactions, and laws and exemption information. Submitted by Reesacat.

    • HOME REMEDIES. Forgotten Medical Cures. http://www.forgottenmedicalcures.com/ Compilation of home remedies from the past. Submitted by Katee.

I really like the idea of it being in one place. When I do a search sometimes the results are so numerous it gets too tedious so this would be a more direct link.

Thank you Islander! I printed this out as I've inquired about some of these...I think -
Do have a question though - How do I know if someone has replied to my comment/question? Is there notification somewhere?

At the top of the page, above the blue bar, see "Thread Tools"? It's a drop-down menu. You can choose "Subscribe to this thread," and if you choose to get an e-mail, you will be notified whenever a reply is made in that thread.

    I like this idea!

In the past month or so, i've gone looking for certain posts. "Search" works well, but sometimes the resources are buried deep in a post (like our blogspots) and take a long time to find.

    Great idea!

This resource is going to be very helpful to me. Thank you, Islander. I did not even know it existed until it came up just now in "what's new?"

Since it seems to be well disguised, I may give it a special page of its own. It needs to be more accessible, yes?
