Default Exposing Kashi Cereal For The Poison That It Is

There is an established misconception among consumers that natural or even organic labeling means more nutritious and less toxic ingredients. This is not always the case and breakfast cereals are no exception. The Kashi brand is owned by Kellogg Company, one of the largest breakfast cereal makers in the world. The ownership base of Kashi is still not widely recognized or common knowledge, especially since the Kashi website continues to paint a picture of being a small company. Investigations into Kashi cereals show deceiving claims after their breakfast products were found to be riddled with genetically modified (GM) and pesticide loaded ingredients.

The deception at Kashi runs deep, especially when it come to its association with Kellogg which is kept very discreet from the public.
"We are a small (after 25 years, still fewer than 70 of us) band of passionate people," it says, despite being owned by the nation's largest cereal manufacturer. Kellogg does not include its name on Kashi packaging.

Good for Ms. Longo to take the time to write this article — I see Kashi products being advertised on TV all the time. It has been very skillfully "Greenwashed" to make it appear healthy and natural.

One of the great benefits of this site is you get info. you don't see anywhere else. I always believed "Kashi - Go Lean" was one of the healthiest cereals going. I mean...who knew? I'll never be able to look at the plethora of "Kashi - Go Lean" products the same ever again. The Kashi products are prominently displayed in the aisles of my health food store. How disturbing...!!

Never trusted the crap. Where on the box does it say organic or non-GMO, and just where did they get the funds to do their major ad campaign? Why from Kellogg's their parent company.
Mr. Wizard they went to great lengths green washing to try and pull in customers like you and I. Luckily the wool is being pulled away.
